Being a retired high school teacher, this horrific event has touched me deeply. Gronda’s post made me tearful and that cartoon made me cry. You can’t fool the kids – they knew he loved them before that fateful day.

I find that I only cry for good things now, like the people’s bravery and goodness, as opposed to any of the bad.
